The purpose of this policy is to set out Apex Lift’s approach to sustainability. This policy applies to all Apex Lifts direct and indirect activities as well as its employees when conducting services and transacting business on behalf of Apex Lifts.

Apex Lifts’ Sustainable Purchasing Policy

The policy affects all buyers, and those staff involved in purchasing. Tenders must take into account the considerations of the policy as listed where applicable and reasonably practicable. This will include any legislation relevant to the purchase.

Apex Lifts’ CO2 Emissions recording

This document records the average CO2 emissions each year since 2011, including average emissions for car usage, commercial vehicles, transport, and the average emissions per employee.

Apex Lifts’ Carbon Footprint recording

This document includes Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions, as well as petrol, diesel, electricity, and water usage. It also includes the overall carbon footprint for each year.

Apex Lifts are proud to be a London Living Wage employer

To become an accredited Living Wage Employer, an organisation needs to pay all of their directly employed staff a Living Wage and have a plan in place to extend that to regular sub-contracted staff as well. The current Living Wage rates are £10.90 per hour and £11.95 in London.
