Apex has adopted Wisdom Hospice as our nominated charity for 2026, following a conversation with the family of Gary Ager, our much-loved colleague who passed away last year.
Beginning on 6 April 2026, we will be running a series of charity events, starting with Cyclathon, a team cycling challenge where each participant will cycle as many miles as they can and have their miles recorded. All funds raised will go directly to Wisdom Hospice, in memory of Gary.
Wisdom Hospice is based in Medway and Swale, providing specialised end-of-life care and support to patients like Gary, along with their families, friends, and carers – whether at home, in the hospice, or in hospital.
Charity fundraising is an important part of being a responsible business, but more importantly, everything we do for Wisdom Hospice this year will be in memory of Gary. We have pledged to match every pound raised.
