We are excited to introduce a new member to the Apex team - please welcome Emma Barnard who joins us as Bid Coordinator. Emma will predominantly be responsible for writing winning tenders but will also assist in any marketing and promotional activities, to find new opportunities for the company.
Prior to joining Apex, Barnard achieved a degree in History before working as a Marketing Assistant. With strong writing skills under her belt Emma wanted to develop further and branch out in a role that would be more challenging and diverse. That is when she came across the position at Apex Lifts.
“I was looking to try something new”, said Emma. “I saw the role at Apex and jumped at the opportunity. Apex is well respected and has a fantastic team, which I was immediately attracted to. Not only that, but the role was very varied and would allow me to expand my skills in an exciting industry - it was a no brainer for me to apply.”
As the successful candidate, Emma is now learning the ropes working on tender responses alongside Sales Manager, Rowena Montanaro as well as the rest of the sales team. She hopes to quickly grasp the lift industry and be able to take on responsibilities to work more independently over the coming months. “I’m really excited to start at Apex and am keen to get up to speed and learn everything there is to know about lifts,” she says.“ I’m already getting stuck into working on tenders and have an exhibition event in September I am helping to organise.”
