Remembering Derek, Apex Lifts Charity ‘Fun’ Bike Ride

Not too long ago, we sadly said Goodbye to our beloved friend and colleague Derek Constable. To do something positive on his behalf, members of our staff organised a Charity ‘Fun’ Bike Ride on behalf of the Alzheimer’s Society, a charity close to Derek’s heart.

The ride followed the Blue Viking Coastal Trail in Broadstairs, a personal favourite ride of Derek’s, with a distance of 32 miles. Everyone was encouraged to take part, with the idea behind it being a fun and sociable event – suitable for all levels of bike riders and of all abilities.

Apex have raised in total £500 in donations for the Alzheimer’s Society from the bike ride and we would like to say a massive well done and congratulations to our superstars!
