On a high: Apex Lifts receives top spot in South East Consortium Lifts Framework

07 July 2017

Here at Apex Lifts, we're on a high after being ranked number one for ‘Lot 2 - Mobility Lifts’ on the South East Consortium’s (SEC) Lifts Framework. As London’s largest independent lift manufacturing and servicing company, we're thrilled to also receive the number two spot for ‘Lot 1 -Passenger Lifts’. The positioning, out of a total of eight providers, will give us more tendering opportunities and reflects the high quality standards of our services and products.

In order to secure a place on the SEC Lifts Framework, we underwent a detailed submission comprising of a suitability assessment and an Invitation to Tender (ITT). In both cases the entries had to cover the scope of services we offer, including maintenance, servicing and installation. A scoring system, based on the most economically advantageous tenders was used to assess capability and performance with us coming out on top!

Chris Monk, Membership Services Manager, said “Apex Lifts scored highly in both our Mobility and Passenger Lifts framework tenders. They have a strong history of working with the public sector, which was clear in their submissions. We look forward to working closely with Apex Lifts for the duration of the framework and hopefully beyond”.

“We are delighted to be on the framework for Mobility Lifts and Passenger Lifts,” says Warren Jenchner, MD at Apex Lifts. “The framework targets the public sector in the South East and London which is where we operate in and therefore gives us more scope to attract new clients. Through SEC, members can request mini tenders or direct call-offs with which clients can come directly to us for contracts. This makes the process much more efficient and straightforward.”

We will be on the current framework for four years until the year 2020.
