How long have you worked at Apex Lifts?

Three years and three months.

What does your day-to-day job involve?

As the Service Director, I am responsible for overseeing the entire service division, repair division, call desk and engineers, totalling 75 members of staff. Additionally, I have full profit and loss responsibility for those departments.

What’s your favourite part of the job?

No two days are alike. Some may not expect that, but it brings new challenges and opportunities every single day and and gives me the chance to learn and grow.

What’s your greatest achievement to date?

Without a doubt becoming a father to my two beautiful girls. Jessica is now eight and Alice is four.

What’s your favourite building in London?

The Valley (Home of Charlton Athletic Football Club of course)

What are your interests outside of work?

My family comes first. I have a partner of 22 years and two wonderful daughters. Second place has to be golf followed by cycling thanks to the team at Apex - they bullied me into it!

If you had to descibe yourself in three words, what would they be?

Bolshoi, loyal and reliable (I hope) as I’ve only had three days’ sick in over 16 years.

Double JD and diet coke. I’m looking after myself.

Chocolate Hobnobs.
