Apex to complete lift refurbishment programme for The Hyde Group

Here at Apex, we are delighted to have been a preferred bidder on The Hyde Group’s framework for ‘General Passenger Lifts Refurbishment (Lot 1)’. The Hyde Group is responsible for over 350 passenger lifts, which will provide our team of expert lift engineers with more opportunities to expand our experience within the housing sector and further enhance our project portfolio.

The exciting news was received following a tendering process, which required clear and detailed evidence of Apex Lifts’ experience and scope of services under the outlined framework provided by Hyde. An extensive evaluation followed by Hyde’s procurement team announcing us as a preferred bidder.

Andy Clorley, Head of Procurement at the Hyde Group said, “We’re really pleased to now have four professional suppliers on our framework who will enable us to achieve the best value for our residents. As this framework is available for other Social Housing providers to access, we hope that other residents across the sector will benefit too.”

“We are delighted to be on the framework, which will allow us to deliver our expertise within the housing sector and The Hyde Group across the South East and London,” says Warren Jenchner, MD at Apex Lifts. “Our objective is to provide value for money projects, upholding our high level of customer service 24/7 in order to meet client requirements.”

Apex will be on the framework for four years with opportunities for mini-tenders for planned programmes of work as well as the potential for direct call-offs from the framework. Planned programmes of work will be based on the age, condition and availability of spare parts for passenger lifts with potential to tender for emergency lift modernisation or replacement works.
