Apex Lifts wins lift maintenance contract with Arun District Council via SEC Framework

Apex Lifts are pleased to have won a planned preventative lift maintenance contract with Arun District Council. The contract is for the duration of three years with the potentail to extend; the contract involves the servicing and maintenance of 18 lifts, callouts, reactive repairs and replacement works as neccessary across Arun District Council sites. The sites include the Civic Centres, Town Hall, public car park lifts and residential sites. 

The Client: Arun District Council 
Arun District Council is a local government district within West Sussex. Arun District Council provide services for communities in: Arundel, Bognor Regis and Littlehampton, being their main towns along with many villages within the Arun District. 

Arun District Council requested that the SEC (South East Consortium) deliver a lift servicing and maintenance contract (under Lot 1 of SEC's Lift Framework) for multiple sites. Due to Apex's positioning on the Framework, the contract was to be delivered via a direct call-off award. 

Works Carried Out:
Apex Lifts worked in partnership with Arun District Council to ensure the direct award from SEC's Lift Framework would be suitable to specific client requirements, lift equipment and timescales- upon which a bespoke servicing and maintenance contract was agreed and proactively mobilised. The sites include a mix of corporate, commercial and residential units. 

The Results: 
With 50 years of industry experience and highly-trained service engineers, Apex Lifts are industry leaders in carrying out planned and preventative servicing and maintenance, reactive repairs and emergency call-out duties. Working in partnership with our client, Arun District Council, resulted in the delivery of: A bespoke contract which was mobilised proactively during the COVID-19 lockdown period-where Apex Lifts remained fully operational, consistent engineer team delivery and monthly meetings to ensure the lifts across Arun District sites are safe, reliable and functional with minimal disruption nor downtime.
