We are pleased to welcome three new apprentices to Apex Lifts. Oliver, George and Tommy will be undertaking an NVQ3 and carrying out their apprenticeship across our servicing & maintenance department.
With our Apex Apprenticeship Scheme, founded in 1976 by Arthur Jenchner, we are pleased to continue enrolling apprentices to our scheme each Autumn.
Apex Lifts is an EAL (Emta Awards Ltd) Approved Assessment Centre, EAL is the UK's leading awarding organisation for engineering National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs.) The Apex Training Academy also provides NVQ (National Vocational Qualification) training in-house. The training academy is unique to the lift industry and something Apex are proud of.
Oliver, George and Tommy will complete their NVQ with a combination of on-the-job and off-the-job learning, including regular progress meetings with Mark Dean, Apex’s in-house Assessor. Mark’s role delivers a single and dedicated interface with our apprentices of which they can benefit from his over 35 years’ experience.
Our three new apprentices are currently undertaking a period within our in-house manufacturing facility to allow them to understand what it’s like working in a construction environment prior to commencing work on-site.
